Potholder Rugs are cushiony, colorful, long-lasting and generally AWESOME! Made from all sorts of discarded clothing including sweaters, sweatshirts, t-shirts, fleeces, stretchy pants, leggings, and even single socks.  The only requirement is that the fabric be stretchy.  Rerouted from the thrift stream the materials are sorted by color and woven into these super fun and functional floor coverings.

They make great pet beds, bedside rugs, bathmats and even changing pads for the really little ones...  The rugs in this listing are approximately 20"x30" or 51x76cm.

The very first Potholder Rug ever made sits on my office floor and has been in use for over 30 years.  These rugs wear well, can be machine washed if they fit in a washing machine, and are best air dried.  

Our bathmats are super absorbent and feel delightful underfoot - the textural weave massages your feet with each step.  

Each rug is one of a kind and woven by hand in my studio on a simple frame loom.
